Rebuild your marketing foundation in one program
X Marketing Makeover (XMO) takes you from positioning to a new brand, a new website, and a coordinated launch. The program runs three to six months, led by senior B2B tech marketers from the first interview to go-live.
Trusted by B2B tech companies
Built for tech companies that have outgrown their marketing
XMO fits when the company has moved on and the brand, the website, and the message have not followed.
A strong fit if you
Not the right start if you
Why tech companies choose X Marketing Makeover
Strategy before design
Positioning is agreed before a logo is drawn or a page is designed, so the brand and the website express a decision.
One team from positioning to launch
The people who define your position also brief the designers, write the copy, and run the launch. Nothing is lost between agencies.
Built for complex B2B sales
Every page is written for buying committees: the technical evaluator, the business owner, and the person who signs.
Six phases from positioning to launch
Each phase ends with your sign-off before the next one starts. Scope is confirmed in discovery, and not every company needs every phase.
Strategy and Positioning
Stakeholder interviews, ICP, competitive landscape, category positioning, and the messaging framework.
Rebranding
Name review where needed, tagline, tone of voice, and the brand story in long and short form.
Visual Branding
Logo system, color, typography, graphic elements, and brand applications.
Information Architecture, UX and Content
Sitemap, desktop and mobile wireframes, full website copy, and keyword mapping.
Website Design and Development
High-fidelity design, development on your chosen platform, CMS setup, integrations, and QA.
Brand Launch
Launch plan, press release, LinkedIn and email announcements, and a paid launch push.
Start where your gap is
The phases combine into four common scopes. Discovery confirms which one fits.
Phase 01 on its own
Positioning first, before you commit to brand or website work. If you continue, its fee counts toward the full program.
Strategy and brand
Phases 01 to 03, for companies with a working website that need a new position and identity.
Through the website
Phases 01 to 05, for companies that prefer to run the launch with their own team.
Full program
All six phases, from positioning to a coordinated market launch.
From discovery to go-live
Discovery and scope
We confirm which phases you need, the timeline, and who signs off on your side.
Strategy and brand
Positioning first, then verbal and visual identity, each closed with your approval.
Website
Sitemap, wireframes, and copy, then design, development, and QA.
Launch and handover
Launch across your channels, a post-launch report, and full handover of every asset.
Launches our team has led
Product and market launches led by our founder, and marketing transformation programs delivered by Saxestory.
A single team accountable for the whole rebuild
Most rebuilds split strategy, brand, website, and PR across different suppliers. XMO runs all of it under one strategy.
Where XMO fits with our other solutions
Do we need all six phases?
No. Scope is confirmed in discovery. Many companies start with Phase 01 on its own, and its fee counts toward the full program if they continue.
How long does XMO take?
Three to six months, depending on the phases in scope and the size of the website. Each phase closes with your sign-off before the next begins.
What happens after launch?
You own every asset. Most clients continue with X Demand Generation to turn the new foundation into pipeline, or with X Marketing Management to keep marketing running.
Do we have to start with positioning?
Yes. Positioning is agreed before a logo is drawn or a page is designed, so the brand and the website express a decision. Phase 01 can also be bought on its own.
