What does Saxestory do?

Saxestory is a B2B tech marketing firm. We build and run demand generation, product marketing, and marketing management for tech companies with complex sales cycles, and we rebuild the marketing foundation when positioning, brand, and website no longer match the company.

How is Saxestory different from a marketing agency?

An agency is paid for deliverables. Our marketers have run marketing inside tech companies, so we own the strategy and the execution, and we are measured on pipeline and revenue contribution. You work with senior people on every decision.

Which companies do you work with?

B2B technology companies with complex sales: software, SaaS, data, engineering, and technology services, including product-led companies adding sales-assisted and enterprise deals. Most clients have between 30 and 200 employees.

Who will work on our account?

Petros Tritsinis, founder and former CMO of MarineTraffic and Entersoft, leads every strategy. Execution is run by specialists who have worked inside B2B tech companies in the role they deliver.

Getting started

3 questions
How do we start?

You talk to a tech marketer first. We ask about your product, buyers, and sales process, then tell you which solution fits and which does not. If the fit is weak, we say so. Scope and terms are agreed before any work begins.

Is the first call free?

Yes. The first 30-minute call is free and carries no commitment. We use it to understand your situation and decide together whether there is a fit.

Will you try to sell us something?

We tell you which of our solutions fits your situation, and when none does. You leave with the first fix we would make, whether or not you work with us.

Pricing

5 questions
How are engagements priced?

Each solution has a Strategy phase at a one-off fee and an Execution phase on a monthly subscription. X Marketing Makeover is a one-off program. Your proposal states one fixed fee for each component.

Why don't you publish prices?

Two engagements with the same name rarely share the same scope. The number of accounts, markets, and channels changes the work, so a published price would be wrong for most companies. Every proposal states a fixed fee for your scope instead.

Can we buy only the strategy?

Yes. The Strategy phase of every solution is a standalone engagement. You own the deliverables, and your own team or another partner can execute them.

Is there a minimum term?

Execution for X Demand Generation and X Marketing Management runs for a minimum of six months, the time these programs need to show reliable results. The term for other engagements is stated in your proposal.

What is not included in your fees?

Media spend, software licences, and third-party costs such as photography, hosting, or event fees. For demand generation and ABM, content and creative production is scoped separately once the strategy shows what is needed.

X Demand Generation

6 questions
How long until we see pipeline?

The strategy takes three to five weeks. The first channels go live in the first month of execution. Reliable pipeline signals take 60 to 90 days, which is why execution runs for a minimum of six months.

Do we need ABM, Funnel, or both?

If you can name the accounts you want to win, ABM covers them. If your market extends beyond any list, Funnel covers the rest. Most B2B tech companies need both, and the strategy phase decides the split.

Do you guarantee a number of leads?

No. We commit to the solution, the work, and transparent reporting on pipeline contribution. Lead volume depends on your market, offer, and budget, and promising a number in advance would set the wrong target.

What is B2B demand generation?

B2B demand generation is the work of creating qualified pipeline for a sales team. It combines targeting, messaging, and channels such as paid media, outbound, and events, and it is measured on pipeline and revenue, not on clicks.

Can we buy the strategy on its own?

Yes. XDG Strategy is a standalone engagement. You receive the Demand Generation Strategy Document and Go-to-Market Playbook, and your own team or another partner can execute it.

What do you report every month?

One report on pipeline contribution: spend, engagement, opportunities, and closed revenue by campaign, tracked in your CRM. It closes with the plan for the next month.

ABM Program

8 questions
What is the difference between ABM and demand generation?

ABM is a form of demand generation built around named accounts. Broad demand generation reaches an audience defined by job titles and industries. ABM reaches a list of companies you choose and engages several people inside each one.

How many accounts do we need for ABM?

Strategic ABM can start with one to five accounts. Lite covers five to 50, and Programmatic covers 50 to 500. The ABM Foundation decides the right list and levels for your market.

How long until ABM produces results?

Engagement signals usually appear in the first months. Pipeline typically follows within three to six months, depending on your sales cycle. That is why the ABM Program runs for a minimum of six months.

Why does the ABM Foundation come first?

ABM invests effort per account, so the wrong accounts or the wrong message waste it. The Foundation selects the accounts and designs the plan, and you approve it before anything launches.

Can we buy the ABM Foundation on its own?

Yes. The Foundation is a standalone engagement. Your own team or another partner can run the Program Strategy Report it produces.

Does our sales team need to be involved?

Yes. ABM works only when marketing and sales work the same accounts. Your sales team joins the monthly account reviews and engages when an account shows the signals you agreed.

Can ABM and the Funnel Program run together?

Yes, and most B2B tech companies need both. ABM covers your named accounts, the Funnel Program covers the rest of the market, and both are reported separately in your CRM.

Is content production included?

No. Content, creative, and media spend are scoped separately, once the Foundation shows what is needed.

X Marketing Management

5 questions
Is XMM a fractional CMO?

It includes CMO-level leadership and adds the specialist team that runs the plan. You get the strategy and the people who execute it, under one monthly subscription.

Can XMM work alongside our in-house marketer?

Yes. XMM gives your team direction, a plan, and specialist support, and your team keeps ownership of the day-to-day work you choose.

What does XMM cover?

Strategy, an annual plan and budget, and a specialist team for PR, events, partner marketing, social media, SEO, and marketing operations. Leadership receives one monthly report tied to revenue.

What is the minimum term?

Execution runs for a minimum of six months. A marketing plan needs that long to show results you can measure and act on.

When is XMM the wrong place to start?

When your brand or website holds back growth, start with X Marketing Makeover. When you need pipeline from paid channels and named accounts above everything else, start with X Demand Generation.

X Product Marketing

5 questions
Do you handle product launches?

Yes. Launches are part of X Product Marketing. Strategy defines the launch plan, and execution runs it: sales readiness first, then the market launch, then a review that feeds back into messaging.

How is XPM different from X Demand Generation?

XPM decides what you say about each product and equips sales to say it. X Demand Generation takes that message to market through ABM, paid media, and outbound. Many clients run both.

How is XPM measured?

On win rate and deal size. Every quarter we review both with your leadership team, together with positioning and the competitive picture.

What does our sales team receive?

Enablement goes to sales first: decks, battle cards, and objection handling built on the approved positioning, delivered in the second month.

Can we buy the strategy on its own?

Yes. XPM Strategy is a standalone engagement. You receive the Product Positioning and Go-to-Market Playbook, and your own team can run it.

X Marketing Makeover

5 questions
Do we need all six phases?

No. Scope is confirmed in discovery. Many companies start with Phase 01 on its own, and its fee counts toward the full program if they continue.

How long does XMO take?

Three to six months, depending on the phases in scope and the size of the website. Each phase closes with your sign-off before the next begins.

What happens after launch?

You own every asset. Most clients continue with X Demand Generation to turn the new foundation into pipeline, or with X Marketing Management to keep marketing running.

Do we have to start with positioning?

Yes. Positioning is agreed before a logo is drawn or a page is designed, so the brand and the website express a decision. Phase 01 can also be bought on its own.

Can we get only a new website?

Every XMO scope starts with Phase 01, Strategy and Positioning. A new website built on an unclear position repeats the problem it was meant to fix.
